• For aluminium wire, we recommend using one tip size larger than the aluminium wire size used. This allows for the extra heat expansion you get with aluminium. Example: For 0.8mm aluminium, use a 0.9mm tip. For 1.0mm aluminium, use a 1.0mmAL tip which is 1.1mm.

• For high-heat flux-core welding, we also recommend moving up a tip size as per the above.
